Am I a Coffee Snob? Happy Camper Discovers Joy in a Church Parking Lot

Maximizing the joy of coffee while on the go can be difficult.  As I prepare for an upcoming camping trip, I’ve been sampling different products in order to be a happy (a.k.a. properly caffeinated) camper when I’m far from home.  Today, I found a taste of coffee heaven in the church parking lot!

Every Sunday in July there is a huge party in a parking outside of Westside:  A Jesus Church on Nimbus in Tigard, Oregon.  On the main stage, my favorite ukulele group, The Bruce Brothers, play tropical songs.  Free (real meat and vegan) burgers and dogs are served with chips and cool beverages.  There are also items available for purchase so today I sampled CoCo-Mond,a cold brew coffee with almond mile and coconut cream.  I got to meet the owner of Prosper Coffee Co. Prosper Coffee Company and was intrigued by the company’s vision- We believe in healthy ingredients and a selection of caffeine levels to provide coffee lovers with a myriad of tasty refreshments–and mission–Prosper Coffee Co. believes that the best coffee creates the best lifestyle.

I believe that the best lifestyle starts with following the greatest commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39.    It’s this amazing love that creates the best lifestyle but this lifestyle is made more flavorful (and in my case more productive) with coffee.

By providing different levels of caffeine and non-dairy, no sugar added variations in a glass bottle, Prosper Coffee Co. may be my new favorite beverage for road trips.
